I don’t know about you, but while we’ve been snowed in, I feel like ALL I’ve been doing is cooking! It is so exhausting. Cook, clean, repeat. I know you other parents feel me on this. So… this weeks protein prep couldn’t have come at a better time!
I’m not going to lie, I am not a huge fan of meal prep. The idea is great because, like I just said, cook, clean, repeat, but I feel like it gets repetitive. The foods not that great the 3rd time around and frankly I just get bored! But, have you heard of protein prep? Because this will change your life! There is something so darn easy about having your fridge stocked with a cooked protein that is versatile and easy to use all week long!
But how do I protein prep? All you do is cook all of your protein at one time. So Sunday night when your making these fabulous tacos, just cook all the protein and save it. That way, you can just throw together quick and easy meals all week long!
